Bible Athlete Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what Bible Athlete collects, how it is used to run the service, which providers support launch operations, and how support-based privacy requests work.
For launch, the formal policy text on this page is currently available in English.
1. Who operates Bible Athlete
Bible Athlete is operated by Bible Athlete LLC in the United States. For support, billing, privacy, export, correction, or deletion questions, contact support@bibleathlete.com.
This Privacy Policy applies to Bible Athlete's public site, signed-in application, pricing and checkout surfaces, support channels, and related pages linked from the service.
2. Information users provide
You may provide information such as your email address, password, preferred language, display name, requested public handle, support messages, feedback, bug reports, question reports, and communications related to billing or privacy requests.
3. Account and authentication information
Bible Athlete uses account information to create and protect your account, keep you signed in, manage sessions, and restore access when needed.
4. Learning and activity information
We process information tied to your training progress, completed and in-progress sessions, streaks, XP, challenge availability, and other product activity needed to run the Bible training experience.
If you use Verse Memory, Bible Athlete may process verse selections, progress, review state, and related notes or custom entries you create inside that experience.
5. Subscription and billing information
Bible Athlete processes subscription plan details, billing state, renewal status, and related identifiers needed to manage Free Preview, Pro access, and customer support.
Payment-card details are handled by our payment processor. Bible Athlete generally receives customer identifiers, subscription identifiers, invoices, and billing status rather than full card details.
6. Support, feedback, and privacy requests
If you contact support, send feedback, report a question, or request access, export, correction, or deletion, Bible Athlete may keep the information needed to review, respond to, and document that request.
7. Device, browser, security, and diagnostic information
Bible Athlete may process device, browser, log, network, and security information needed to detect abuse, investigate incidents, diagnose errors, protect accounts, and maintain service reliability.
9. How information is used
We use information to:
- create and secure accounts
- run training, Verse Memory, progress, and related features
- process subscriptions and protect billing flows
- respond to support, question reports, and privacy requests
- review handles and moderate limited public-facing surfaces
- debug, secure, and improve the service
- meet legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse
10. Service providers
Supabase supports account authentication and hosted application data.
We use Stripe as our payment processor. Stripe handles payment-card and billing information according to its own privacy practices. Bible Athlete does not store full payment-card details.
Vercel supports hosting and optional consent-gated analytics.
Resend supports service-related email delivery.
These providers process information on Bible Athlete's behalf to help operate the service. This Privacy Policy does not state that they own your information.
11. Optional analytics
Optional Vercel Analytics is loaded only after analytics consent is granted. If you do not grant analytics consent, that optional analytics tool should remain off.
Bible Athlete does not currently describe an active marketing vendor integration on this page.
12. Public handles and limited community-facing information
Bible Athlete currently uses limited community-facing handle surfaces. Requested handles may be reviewed before they appear publicly, and Bible Athlete may moderate, reject, remove, or replace handles that violate policy.
13. Data retention
Bible Athlete keeps information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain account and billing records, respond to support and privacy requests, protect the platform, and meet legal or dispute-handling obligations.
Exact retention timing can vary by record type, backup cycle, billing obligations, and security needs.
14. Access, correction, export, and deletion requests
To request access, correction, export, or deletion, contact support at support@bibleathlete.com.
Requests are handled through support rather than a self-service deletion button, and identity verification may be required before sensitive requests are completed.
15. Account deletion versus subscription cancellation
Canceling Pro stops future subscription renewal but does not delete your Bible Athlete account. Requesting account deletion does not automatically cancel an active Pro subscription. Cancel Pro first under Settings -> Billing, then contact support if you also want to request account deletion.
Deletion requests are reviewed manually, identity verification may be required, completion timing depends on the request and records involved, and limited necessary records may be retained for billing, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
Cancel anytime from Settings -> Billing. Cancellation prevents future renewal, and Pro access continues through the end of your current paid billing period.
16. Children and age eligibility
Individual accounts are for users age 13 or older. Users under the age of legal majority where they live must have parent or legal guardian permission.
Children under 13 should not create their own account and may use Bible Athlete only under adult supervision through the adult's account. Bible Athlete does not currently offer individual accounts or managed child accounts for children under 13.
17. International processing
Bible Athlete operates from the United States and may process information in the United States and other places where our providers support the service. Processing locations can depend on the provider involved and the type of request or record.
18. Security
Bible Athlete uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect account and service data. No system can promise complete security.
19. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Bible Athlete changes. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
20. Contact information
Contact support@bibleathlete.com for support, billing, privacy, export, correction, or deletion questions.
